    Sonic bristle vibrations are tiny oscillations that are perceptible to the human ear. The GLEEM battery brush vibrates the bristles of the brush head to help remove plaque biofilm from your teeth while brushing.
  • Can I use the GLEEM battery brush without the sonic bristle vibrations on?
    Yes, you can use the GLEEM battery brush just like you would a manual toothbrush without turning it on.

  • What kind of bristles does the GLEEM battery brush have?
    The GLEEM battery brush has soft, nylon bristles for a gentle clean.
  • How do I replace the brush head?
    To remove an old brush head, grasp the brush head at either the base or neck (the skinny part) and pull straight up while holding the handle. (The brush head does not need to be screwed or twisted on or off.) Discard your old brush head and replace the brush head with a new GLEEM refill brush head by placing the brush head onto the handle with the bristles facing the same direction as the power button. Press down until you hear a click and the brush head is securely attached to the handle. You're all set!

    Do not use without a refill.
  • How often do I replace the brush head?
    We recommend you replace the brush head every 3 months.
  • Why do I need to replace the brush head every 3 months?
    After 3 months of normal use, toothbrush bristles can become worn down and lose their original alignment. Toothbrush bristles can also accumulate residue and debris, so we recommend using a fresh brush head every 3 months for general performance and cleanliness.
  • Where can I buy the GLEEM battery brush and GLEEM brush head refills?
    The GLEEM battery brush and GLEEM brush head refills can be purchased online at www.gleem.com or in store exclusively at Walmart.

  • What type of battery does the GLEEM brush use?
    1 AAA battery.
  • How will I know when to replace the battery?
    When the GLEEM battery brush begins to lose vibration power, it means the battery is running low. The GLEEM battery brush will no longer turn on when the battery is fully depleted, which means it's time to replace the battery.
  • How do I replace the battery?
    To replace the battery, open the cap that's located at the bottom of the brush. To remove the cap, find a coin, insert the thin edge of the coin into the slot, and turn counterclockwise (lefty loosey). Remove the used battery and replace with a new battery with the positive end (the protruding part) towards the brush head and the negative end (the flat end) towards the bottom of the handle. Discard of the used battery according to local regulations. Replace the cap and tighten by inserting the thin edge of the coin into the slot and turning clockwise (righty tighty).
  • Will the GLEEM battery brush work with a rechargeable AAA battery?
    Yes, you can use a rechargeable AAA battery with GLEEM battery brush.

    Brush how you normally would with a manual toothbrush with up and down and circular motions. Consult your dentist for recommendations on brushing technique.

    Use GLEEM battery brush just like you would a regular toothbrush. We recommend brushing your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes - once in the morning and once at night. Consult your dentist for more information. The GLEEM battery brush comes ready to use with a battery and brush head pre-installed. To use, turn GLEEM battery brush on by pressing the power button at the top of the handle near the brush head. The button will light up and the brush head will begin to vibrate. The GLEEM battery brush has an automatic 2-minute cycle that is divided into four 30-second segments to help you monitor your brushing completion. The brush pauses in vibration to indicate when each segment is over and turns off automatically after a full 2 minutes. You can pause the 2-minute cycle in the middle by pressing the power button once to pause and once to resume.

    You can use your normal toothpaste with your GLEEM battery toothbrush.

Use the four segments to help you monitor where you are in your brushing cycle

    Yes, the GLEEM battery brush will turn off automatically after 2 minutes.
  • If I pause the cycle, can I pick up where I stopped?
    Yes, the GLEEM battery brush has a pause feature that lets you puase and resume your 2-minute cycle. You can pause the 2-minute cycle in the middle by pressing the power button once to pause and once to resume.
  • Can I travel by airplane with the GLEEM battery brush?
    The GLEEM battery brush uses 1 AAA battery, which can be packed in carry-on and checked-in bags, per current TSA guidelines.
  • I just received my GLEEM brush and it's not turning on. What should I do?
    The GLEEM battery brush comes with 1 AAA battery pre-installed, but the battery may be installed incorrectly or sometimes the battery can become drained before the package is opened. To check or replace the battery, open the cap that's located at the bottom of the brush. To remove the cap, find a coin, insert the thin edge of the coin into the slot, and turn counter clockwise (lefty loosey). Check that the positive end of the battery (the protruding part) points towards the brush head and the negative end of the battery (the flat end) points towards the bottom of the handle. If the battery has been installed correctly but the brush still does not turn on, remove the existing battery and replace with a new battery. Discard of the existing battery according to your local regulations. If the brush still does not turn on after installing a new battery, call GLEEM Customer Service at 855-210-8802.

    Discard of old brush heads in the trash. There is currently no recycling stream for used toothbrushes.

    Discard of used batteries according to your local regulations. Many hardware stores have drop-off locations for used alkaline batteries, like the ones used in the GLEEM battery brush.   • How do I store the GLEEM battery brush?
    Store your GLEEM battery brush like you would a regular toothbrush. You can store it upright on a counter, in a toothbrush holder or cup, in the included travel case, or lying flat on your counter. The GLEEM battery brush has a built-in rollstop so it will stay put when you set it down with the bristles up. The GLEEM battery brush is also designed with an elevated brush head so your brush head stays away from surfaces, even when laying flat.
  • What is the case that came with the battery brush for?
    The included case is a travel case and can be used to protect your GLEEM battery toothbrush during travel or for everyday storage. The travel case is ventilated so air can circulate even when the case is closed. Open the case at the indented area along the seam, and close the case by pressing the two halves of the case together until you hear a "click".
  • Why is there no plastic bag on the GLEEM battery brush in the package?
    The GLEEM battery brush packaging was designed to use zero plastic. The GLEEM battery brush packaging can be recycled with other paper materials according to your local regulations.
  • How do I clean the GLEEM battery brush?
