- One Week Professional Teeth Whitening Light Kit
General
- What is the new GLEEM Teeth Whitening Kit?
The new GLEEM One Week Professional Teeth Whitening Light Kit with Booster Strips contains 14 GLEEM whitening treatments and 1 LED Light device to help whiten your teeth. Use 7 strips consecutively for one week, then use the remaining "booster strips" as desired to keep your smile brilliant all year long.
The GLEEM whitening treatments are thin, flexible strips coated with a hydrogen peroxide-infused gel and are designed to conform to the shape of your teeth. The strips work by keeping the whitening gel on your teeth to get to the stain build-up below the enamel's surface. The specially-engineered LED Light then helps weaken yellow stains so that the peroxide can whiten teeth more effectively. - How do I use the GLEEM One Week Professional Teeth Whitening Light Kit with Booster Strips?
Use GLEEM whitening strips for 60 minutes once per day for 7 days. For each application, open the foil sachet and peel one strip off of backing liner. Align long edge of strip with gumline and apply to upper teeth; fold excess behind teeth. Repeat for bottom teeth. Leave on for 60 minutes. For the last 5 minutes of treatment (ie: at minute 55), turn on LED Light by holding down the two buttons on the sides and releasing. Blue light should turn on. Place LED Light on top of strips and hold in mouth with lips for 5 minutes. (LED light will automatically turn off after 5 minutes). Remove blue light and strips and smile!
To keep your smile bright all year long, use the remaining 7 whitening strips (booster strips) as desired with the LED light. -

Whitening Treatments
- How do GLEEM whitening treatments work?
GLEEM whitening treatments work by getting whitening formula to your teeth and keeping it there for 60 minutes. GLEEM whitening treatments use the same ingredient that dentists use to whiten: hydrogen peroxide. When hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) forms H2O (water) and O2 (oxygen) in contact with stain molecules, the chemical reaction helps to remove the stain in a way that is effective and safe for your enamel. Was that enough chemistry for you today? Us too.

We recommend that you NOT brush your teeth immediately before using the strips; you can brush your teeth following treatment.

Both strips are the same length, so either can be used for top or bottom teeth.
-

We recommend using a new set of treatments if the strips were not placed properly, but you can attempt to reapply with the same strips (but you may not get the same whitening results)

How to Use
- How do I use the GLEEM Touch-Up Applicator Teeth Whitening Pen?
Brush on. Smile on. DIRECTIONS: Remove the cap and twist the bottom of the pen clockwise until gel dispenses through the brush (it may take several turns the first time). Twist the bottom of the pen 1 full turn so dot symbols align and a small drop is dispensed. Smile and brush a thin layer of gel onto each tooth avoiding the gums. Replace cap. Wait 60 seconds before closing mouth. Avoid eating or drinking for 1 hour after application. Apply 2 times per day for at least 14 days.
- When should I use the pen?
We recommend using the pen twice a day at least 1 hour before eating or drinking.
- What's in the whitening gel?
The whitening gel inside the GLEEM Touch-Up Applicator Teeth Whitening Pen contains peroxide, the same teeth whitening ingredient dentists use. It also has a mint flavor for freshness.
- What are the symbols on the back of the pen for?
The dot symbols are there to help you know when you’ve dispensed the right amount for a single application. Line up the symbols, turn the bottom of the pen so the symbols line up again, and apply the amount of gel dispensed to teeth.
- Will applying more gel whiten my teeth more?
We recommend applying a thin layer up to 2 times a day; to help whiten your teeth, avoid closing your mouth after application for the full 60 seconds.
- Which teeth should I apply the gel to?
We recommend applying the gel to your “smile teeth”, or the teeth that are visible when you smile.
- The gel won’t come out; how do I get the gel to come out of the brush?
Before the first use, it may take several “turns” of the pen dispenser to get the gel to come through the brush. Once the gel dispenses through the brush and is “primed”, it should only take 1 full turn to dispense the right amount for a single application.
- Will the pen hurt my teeth/cause sensitivity?
With the Touch-Up Applicator, we recommend applying the gel to the teeth only and not the gums. With all whitening products there is a chance that you may experience tooth sensitivity and/or gum discomfort. These effects are generally mild. These effects are temporary and not harmful. If significant tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort develops, try stopping usage for 2-3 days, then resume usage. If the problem persists, discontinue usage.
- How many uses does the pen hold?
When applied as directed, the pen should last for about 40 uses, which is 20 days when used twice/day. The GLEEM Touch-Up Applicator Teeth Whitening Pen provides more whitening gel than most other whitening pens on the market.
-
Storage & Maintenance
- Where should I store the pen?
We recommend storing the pen at room temperature with the brush tip pointing up if you're leaving it in one place. If you're carrying it on-the-go, make sure you cap the pen tightly!
- Should I clean the brush tip between uses?
It is not necessary to clean the brush tip between uses. After brushing the gel on to teeth, cap the pen tightly until the next use. However, if you'd like to clean the brush tip, use a clean, dry tissue to wipe off excess gel and cap the pen tightly.
- I accidentally dispensed too much. What should I do?
Apply a thin layer to teeth. To avoid leakage during storage, wipe excess gel off of brush tip with a clean, dry tissue and cap pen tightly.
- I got the whitening formula on my clothes or other surfaces – what should I do?
Immediately rinse or wash the item. The hydrogen peroxide in the teeth whitening pens may damage certain types of fabrics if left on too long, so we recommend washing your hands immediately after applying or wiping away excess gel so it does not transfer from your hands to other surfaces.
- I got the whitening formula on my skin – what should I do?
The hydrogen peroxide in teeth whitening pens may temporarily lighten skin, but it is not permanent. Wash your hands or skin after contact to avoid transferring the formula to other surfaces.
- How do I know when the pen is empty?
When there is no more whitening gel in the pen, you will not be able to dispense additional gel by turning the bottom of the pen.
